June's 80th Birthday ...

I received a request for 30 Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting for a friend of a friend's Mother's 80th Birthday celebration ... I wanted to make it special so designed wrappers in pink with stylized darker pink flowers in various sizes that provided a great background for dark pink text wishing June a Happy Birthday. Inspired by the floral design, I decided to make a batch of white modeling chocolate that I tinted pink and cut out 1 larger flower and 2 smaller and embellished them with white pearlized round sprinkles. They were set off nicely against the healthy dollop of white cream cheese frosting on each cupcake.

I do hope June's Birthday is a great one and everyone enjoys the cupcakes that her Son had me make for them.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNE!

New Event at The Drake

Got a last minute call from The Drake to do 160 CakePoPs for a corporate event for Steelite. They loved the red velvet pops I've made so we did those. They sent me the Steelite logo that I put onto the tags that were attached. Their logo had an aqua and purple color scheme ... so I tinted the coating the aqua color and lightly sprinkled them with purple chunky sugar. I think they turned out really great looking! Here are a few pics ...

United Airlines

This week my very good friend Peter asked me to make chocolate cake pops for a meeting he was having at United ... I created tags that showcased their new branding images and turned out just great. Peter sent me a message saying that they LOVED them! I'm so excited to be able to add this to my list of quality customers I'm proud to do business with! Thank you Peter for the opportunity! Here are a few pictures of how they turned out.

Mother's Day Brunch ... Cake Pops

Once again, I was so fortunate to be asked to provide cake pops for the Drake's Mother's Day Brunch! I suggested that we try something new ... so Red Velvet Cake Pops it was ... I also paired it with Yellow Butter Cake Pops. Since it was for Mother's Day ... PINK was the color of the day. I did a pale pink on the Red Velvet and a deeper almost red pink for the Yellow Cake and sprinkled them all with tiny white nonpareils. I think they really looked pretty! Of course they tasted YUMMY! 250 were delivered on Saturday afternoon and Drew has now gone through the whole process and was a huge help in getting this order done in time. We're a pretty good team! Here are a few pictures of them ... I hope all the Mom's enjoyed the cake pops!!
