Another Chicago Bears event where I made some Sweet Treats to share!

Sunday 1-23-11 ... Bears vs. Packers and I decided to break out some great cupcakes and cake pops sporting Bears colors ... Blue and Orange! I made some Banana Pudding cupcakes ... yellow cake filled with banana pudding and a Nilla Waffer cookie in the bottom.  Made some Orange Dreamsicle Cake Pops all sugar coated in blue and orange ... they were delicious! I also had a dozen Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream frosting topped with a "mini-cupcake" made from a Reese's Peanut Butter cup also piped with a bit of that peanut butter frosting. Drizzled them all with chocolate ganache and some chopped peanuts. They were a HIT! Unfortunately, the outcome of the game didn't go the Bears way ... we all enjoyed the goodies!! Sidetrack in Chicago hosted a great time!!

Until the next Sweet event!

Rick's meeting ...

My friend Rick asked if I'd make a dozen cupcakes for one of his meetings today! I'm making yummy Snickers cupcakes ... devil's food cupcakes with a mini snickers baked inside, topped with caramel buttercream drizzled with chocolate ganache and caramel and sprinkled with peanuts. Custom cupcake wrappers that highlight the meeting message and company logos. I decided to include a dozen cake pops (Oreo cookie cake with green candy melt coating ... I piped on some royal icing to go with the meeting topic of "Make it a Money Day" ... dollar signs and a house on either side. Rick said they were a delicious hit which makes me happy!! :-)
